I'm not Morbidly Obese ANYMORE!!!

I just got weighed and my BMI is now 39.8!!!!! That's severely obese!! I can't tell you what this means to me! I've been MO since 1988, guys!!! I am just beyond elated!!!! Michelle 340/326/261/175

Thats Great!! Right before I read your post I was figuring out my BMI I am at 215 and 35.8 BMI. Still severely obese, but not morbid and barely would qualify to have surgery if I started at this weight! I only have 5 more pounds to go to be just obese and I know you'll get there too!!

Great Job Michelle, My BMI went from 51.6 Pre-op to 41 this week.... I've got 6 pounds to go to get under "Morbidly Obese" and slide into "Severly Obese" woohoo... From there it's just a hop skip and a jump to "just obese" and then "overweight"... Isn't it funny how we have all these measures? Our language changes, we drop letters like... WLS, BMI, SF, etc.... Quite a lot of "food" for thought.... Measurements and guages aside... I'm feeling Great.... And hope that everyone on this journey is experiencing the thrilling ride that I am... Kate Z

Congrats Michelle!!!! I am almost there with you. I checked my BMI just yesterday and I'm 40.8, or something like that. Wooo hoooo! AND I went to Avenue today and bought a size 18/20 top. I was thrilled!

Congratulations Michelle! Isn't it a great feeling to go down to the next level! I started out with a BMI of 49 and now after 72 pounds I'm at 38. I know how you feel - I was ecstatic when I got below 40. Cheers to you! Jean

Way to go Michele. I just checked mine and it is 26.6 (overweight)! I am very excited. Just 1.7 more to go to be Normal (whatever normal is) Keep up the good work. You don't even look like the same person. Teresa
