Dress for Wedding!!!

OK... i went to buy a dress for this wedding I am going to tomorrow night and guess what....I bought a size 14. Before the WLS I was a 24. I tried on three dresses, two in 14 and one in 16. Both 14's fit. I was in shock. I know jeans are still a 16 usually. But I can't believe tomorrow night i will be wearing a 14. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will take a picture so you all can see!!!!

Congratulations! Be careful, or you'll be accused of taking attention away from the bride! I WISH I were a size 14, but I'm happy I just got into a size 26 today. Any clothes you need to get rid of....ship 'em this way! Julie

Congratulations Diane! My goal is to get to a size 14-16. I am now a size 20 (started at a 30) and 69 pounds lighter. Have a great time at the wedding! Jean

Diane, Doesn''t it feel good? When I was on vacation I purchased 6 dresses! Yes 6...they were $3 each, and they look pretty damn good on me. Who would have thought 1 year ago, I'd be wearing dresses? Have fun at the wedding...

I had to go to Davids Bridal to fit for a bridesmaid dress for my cousins wedding in Texas in October. I am in between a 14 and 16 jean and I fit a size 18 bridesmaid dress ( they always run small ) but it sucked hearing it anyways. But then I wont be wearing it for 10 weeks so I wasnt sure what to do about the size. I could wear a size 8 jean and it wnt matter cause it is only FITTED at the waist on up. It is strapless too. Let me just say I was up to a 42DD and I am now a 38D. If I dont lose more in that area but I do everywhere else it still wont change the size of my dress. I wasnt sure what to do so I ordered one size smaller only. Does anyone have any experience in those type of dresses? should I have stuck with the 18 to be safe? Chylene 290/222/145
