Chinese Food
I heard that, too. But it was "older" forms of protein that had undergone some other process... I forget which one. Gotta remember to take better notes when my nut speaks!
I use Unjury powder, or the stuff from GNC. The literature it comes with talks about what happens when you heat your protein. With those, if you put it in a warm liquid, you're fine. If the liquid is too hot, it'll cook the protein, but the nutritional value remains the same. It's just not very appetizing. Kinda looks like eggs.
But, you can bake with it! (pancakes, cookies, muffins) Go figure!
Not too sound TOO judgemental.....(because God knows, I'm NOT perfect) but if you puked twice WHY would you eat it again????????????
Chinese is a touchy food to be eating at almost 3 months out. I have read endless post/messages stating that alot of people can't keep it down even after a year out.
I puked awful today and I've not felt well since it happened to me at work, which everyone heard but I still can't even think about trying to eat anything.
I'm too scared to try chinese food or rice. If you puked on it, your pouch doesn't like it. I'd stay away from chinese food for awhile if I was you!!!!

Here is my exerience with chinese. Like alot of other foods, for me, if it is the slightest bit greesy, oily, what ever my pouch rebels, fortunate or not i always manage too keep it down.
Try non wok type foods, like chow main, for example, or in my case steamed dumplins (sort of aquired taste). Search out the different places, some are grease pits, and will always upset a pouch, others are very clean, they only use enough oil to cook it. With woks they shouldnt need hardly any oil, just the way woks are made, but alot of places its almost like getting a lube job on the car there is so much oil.
Im not trying to tell you how too eat, but i would keep the chinese down to a min, not much healthy on their menu, but hey i eat it too.
