It is finally showing!
Well, as of this morning I've lost 68.5 lbs. (20 was pre-op). I have to say that it has been a bit discouraging because it wasn't until this week that people started to tell me how different I'm looking and that the weight loss is showing up. Everyone told me that my face looked thinner, but, I didn't lose 68.5 lbs from my face alone! Anyway, it is an interesting thing watching my body adjust. I've lost nearly nothing in the breast area (the boob fairy has always been obsessed with me), but, I'm finally losing inches around the middle.
Anyway, it is a great feeling! And the fact that I've been very healthy through this whole process makes me feel extremely lucky!
Well, off to my morning walk! Have a great day!

Kinda reminds me of how people used to say "you have such a pretty face"!...ughhh...anyway, most people did notice the weightloss in my face first....and thats okay, it is nice only having one chin now.
But now, with my -68 pounds (yes! finally lost another pound today), people notice alot more than my face. I started noticing all my clothes were just hanging on me, so I got rid of alot of clothes. Of course, I practically have nothing to wear now! And the funniest thing...my undies were falling off of me!! (my hubby didn't mind that though). hee hee
Congrats Lori.....keep up the great work!
Your so right about those observations. I think it has alot to do with when your over 250+ and you loose a few pounds nobody notices. I had this happen at work. I had lost 40+ pounds and people would tell me ohh we can really see the weight change in your face....Then a coworker who weighs 135 pounds lost 10 lbs and everyone was just raving to her how big a change that was. It just takes a whole lot of weight to be gone before they notice it on us. I figure all that matters is what I see when I look in the mirror. I hate to admit it but I often look in the mirror when I am changing and in my underwear and can really see the changes. The baggy clothes really hide alot, especially the losses around the middle.
Lori I congratulate you on your great successes so far.
