Yummy Lunch!
I just had my first "real" lunch! I tried a South Beach Diet Turkey & bacon wrap. I was able to eat 1 tortilla but not the other (I wasn't sure if I'd be able to eat the tortilla since I have trouble with bread). I did eat the meat and cheese though. It had 25 grams of protein, yay! This was VERY good! I may try some of the others once in a while now.
SHUT UP! I was just sitting here reading some of the other posts as I am eating my chili wondering if I should post what I was having for lunch! Too weird!
Good for you for enjoying it! I am wicked terrified to try flour tortillas! I can do corn.....but the flour.......

The Southwest Chicken wrap is really good, too... I get them occasionally, eat one, pack the other one up for lunch, give the jello to the kids... I haven't had any problems with tortillas, but I try not to do them too often. I guess if I'm supposed to be UPPING my carbs, I might as well.
I had ham and beans for lunch. I actually brought a cheese stick and a slice of lite deli ham from home, but I've been freezing in my office all day and the ham and beans sounded wonderful. I had them put it on a piece of cornbread and ate just ate around the cornbread and one tiny bit of it after it got really soggy. I'm not allowed yeast breads for a year, but was told something without yeast, I could try, in moderation, earlier.
