These size 12's will fit you????

I went to support group tonight at the local hospital and they do a clothing exchange and the one gal looked at me and said "Oh, these are a size 12 - they'll fit you." I swear I turned and looked to see if someone was behind me and then said "Who me?" I told her that "No, sorry, I'm far from a size 16." They didn't believe me and said "Well, you are close then." I am wearing a size L shirt and size 16 stretch jeans but boy...I'll take being told I look like a size 12 as a big, big compliment! I've never been one to look my weight or size. I'm a pretty big boned lady. I'm still over 200 lbs. Feeling good! Kathy

Congratulations Kathy! That's a fantastic feeling isn't it? Today I went shopping while visiting my mom. Before surgery I wore a 32. Today a 22 jacket fit like a glove. I was sooooooo excited. Those moments make you feel great! Enjoy it! ~Wanda

Kathy - that's wonderful. I too wear a size L top and about a 16 pant (although I did fit into a 14 jean yesterday). I could be a 12 pant if it weren't for this "tire" of hanging skin and fat around my middle. (it's from having six kids). I was able to buy a capri in a size 19 JUNIOR yesterday!!! I about fell over. I'd rather be in the biggest junior size than the smallest womens size. LOL Laurie 262/191/135
