Hi there! My surgery was 5/23 and I've lost 44 lbs (273/229). When I was down 30 lbs I didn't think I'd make 50 by my 3 month anniversary. But I upped my protein and I've been dropping well. Only 6 more lbs to do in 12 days, crossing my fingers. And great job to all you others out there!

Hi Linda, You are doing fantastic. I know those plateaus can be very discouraging, but our bodies need time to adjust and rest, etc.... My personal goal was also 50 pounds by 3 months, and 100 pounds by 6 months. Good luck, you are doing so well. Deanna

Okay Deanna, I had my surgery May 11 and started out at 320 pounds and I am now 253 so I have lost........67 pounds!!! I feel great. I have so much energy and really enjoying my 3 year old. I had a WOW moment last night in bed with my husband (but I will let you use your imagination..tee hee) and I am only drinking about 1 protein shake a day but am taking all my vitamins and iron and such. I started out wearing a 26/28 and am wearing a size 20 but probably can squeeze into an 18. So life is Wonderful!!!!

Lisa, That is wonderful! You are doing great and I'm sure your hubby enjoys the benefits too! I have a 3 yr old also, so I agree having more energy is a wonderful thing. Congratulations on the 67 pounds! Keep up the good work! Deanna

Oh, Lisa - aren't those "WOW" moments with hubby the best!?!? We've had a few ourselves - but I'll just keep those to us. Michelle
