Hey gang, why ruin a good thing? I gotta keep it short though, we have company... Morning: 8 oz of SF Koolaid - haven't had koolaid in probably 10 years It was AWESOME! Also had 25 oz of CL with scoop and a half of protien B: 4 oz of Blue Bunny Carb Freedom PEach Yogurt L: 1 1/2 slices of Lite Virgiana Ham and a stick of cheese D: 2 oz of chicken with parmesan and just a dab of tomato sauce, 2 slices of chili roasted peppers and 1/2 a sesame cracker. We went to a new store that opened today called Fresh Market. It's sort of like a yuppiesh open air market under one roof - organic produce, top line meat counter where you actually order cuts, nothing prepackaged, gourmet coffees, etc. Pretty much no grocery items except gourmet rices, olive oils, stuff like that. Plus wines, etc. It was very cool. They had these chicken roles, different varieties, of chicken breast flattened and rolled up with something (spinach and gouda, tomato and parmesan, etc.) Just pop em in the oven. VERY YUMMY. The peppers I stole from Rachel Ray. Instead of Broccoli, I used sliced bell peppers. Some EVOO, some chili powder, some grill seasoning and some garlic all mixed together, tossed the peppers in it and cooked it in the oven for the last 15 minutes I cooked the chicken. VERY GOOD. Broccoli is wonderful this way, also. Anyway, I'm babbling, sorry, it's just so rare for me to get excited about food these days... Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I broke down and got a Venti Iced Latte with SF Hazlenut from Four-Bucks today after my 60 minute workout. Hey, it's got protein!

Carrie, I don't see where you're really eating any more than me. I would love to eat cereal again, but it's still a no-no for me. Actually, I can eat the cereal, but I'm not supposed to eat it with milk. Maybe because of the chances of it swelling up in your pouch? I dunno, I'm going to ask my Nut about it on Monday. Have you had any problems with it? Love cooking now, more than ever, even though I don't get much of a chance and sometimes get mad when I cook something really good and can't eat much of it.

B - Carb Milk mixed w/chai tea and protein powder and a Banana S - 4 Claussen baby dills (love those things) L - Chicken breast stuffed with broccoli, cheese and very small ham pieces (I got this at Costco, there are 4 in a box, 39grams of protein!) S- Couple of Brazil nuts and about 5 almonds, had a meeting with the VP and she put them out for everyone, ughhh D - Cobb Salad minus Bacon (ok so a chicken salad with egg, I ate the egg, and a little of the chicken) S - couple of slices of salami, was worried about my protein I did drink quite a bit today, had the Chai Tea, a can of tomato juice, a 16 oz Fuze drink, that was pretty good! I also had water too, woo hoo! Went to the pool tonight for about 45 minutes.

MMMMmmmmm.... That chicken sounds gooooood! It's not breaded? Julie *who may have to stop at Costco tomorrow* P.S. What's wrong with nuts? I don't know about Brazil nuts, but I eat almonds all the time. They're a great source of protein, and they have the "healthy" fat in them. They can be high in calories if you over-indulge...but 5????

Thats the best part, there is no breading just chicken and a little filling and very high in protein, I thought I hit the jackpot! I was having a nut issue, i had a jar on my desk and I was "snacking" now I would have eaten the whole jar in a day or 2 before and now I was just having a lid full but I still felt like I needed to stop, bad habits creeping back, so I gave the rest of the jar to my boss, then I go into this meeting and the boss's boss puts a can of nuts in front of me, ughhh. So glad you asked today. Much better food day (as far as protein and calories go). B: scoop & 1/2 of Nectar Lemon Tea w/CL lemonade. Still my favorite! L: 10oz Alpine Punch Isopure (gotta love 20g protein in 10oz) S: Uh-oh...went against dr's orders and had three cubes of swiss cheese when a congressman visited at work today. Don't know why I couldn't resist snacking. I had sat through a lunch meeting with an entire room full of people eating hamburgers & french fries, but this afternoon when those cheese trays were put out...whammo...I couldn't resist. Well, I got SICK AS A DOG! I didn't , but I thought I was going to. It was bad. I guess that's karma for you. D: 1/4 turkey burger with provolone cheese melted on top & dipped in SF ketchup. 1 itty bitty pickle, 6 shrimp w/SF ****tail sauce (leftover), for a total of about 1 cup of food (maybe). S: SF popsicles...my vice. Total for day: 620 calories, 23g fat, 19 carbs (dang popsicles..I ate so many it upped my carbs), and 83g PROTEIN!!!! The usual vitamins plus weekly B-12, and the usual water (still sipping). Julie

Pouchy was having NO meat today for some reason. I tried. B: 1 egg, 1 Jimmy Dean turkey sausage (this was the only meat of the day that stayed down) L: tried a low carb wrap with tuna salad came right up after 1 bite. (I've had both the tuna and wraps before - so dunno) L - second try (a bit later): Smoothy made with vanilla soy milk, Isopure Dutch chocolate, and about 2/3 of a frozen banana (very yummy) D: Tried some baked cod - one bite - didn't but didn't sit well D - second try (a little later): 2 string cheese - sat just fine S: lactose free milk, vanilla protein powder, about 3/4 cup frozen blueberries smoothy Water intake: about 60 oz, no gym today, though - pouchy just wasn't happy most of the day and it wiped me out. Took all my vits and such. Totals: Calories: 867, Fat: 30, Carb: 59, Protein: 94 (which REALLY surprises me considering I couldn't keep anything down. I didn't add in the bite of tuna or anything) Meeechellllay ()
