pizza anyone???
I have had pizza, I have thin thin crust and I take small bites, if you start to eat to fast you will feel it. my friend takes those giant mushrooms and uses them for her crust to her pizza. She loves them. I found out they have a south beach diet pizza out with lots of protein made on wheat crust. Its not that bad but you have to make sure you eat it really slow. Good luck, I just wouldnt try thick crust because it expands and clumps together and would really hurt.
As its always been my favorite food, I was eager to get this back and tried it probably earlier than I was supposed to. But I've had no trouble with it. The rules I stick to are these:
1. One slice only. And even less than a slice if its a very large pizza.
2. Avoid toppings. I can eat them, but its healthier without them.
3. Eat slowly (as with everything, but its real important with pizza).
4. Get extra cheese - tastes yummy and adds protein.
5. Enjoy it!!!
I've done the "chew it up and taste it, then spit it out" routine for lots of foods. Its not that great. I've never had a problem with blood sugar like Kathy described, but that doesn't mean you or anyone else won't. I say, wait until you can eat it and swallow it before you try it. But at 3 months, you might be ready to give it a whirl!
