OMGoodness - my wedding dress fits!

FINALLY! No, this isn't the dress I wore to a wedding years ago or to my wedding last fall. This is an unworn dress still with the tags on it. I bought it last August to wear fall of 2006 when Rich and I were planning to be married. I knew it would be too small for me but with Rich having his surgery - I was bound to lose along with him right? The dress is a straight size 20 and we all know that wedding dresses run about 2 sizes smaller than their number so when I lost weight it would fit, right? LOL! Anyway, I bought it on eBay and the gal that sold it to me said she bought it new but her wedding plans changed to a less formal wedding so she sold it. I bought it and then Rich and my wedding plans changed (with me wanting WLS) and we got married very informally last fall plus the dress was no where near fitting me. I didn't lose along with Rich afterall. I read a post on my Light-Weights board from someone who is getting married in the near future and it reminded me of the dress so I took the box down and tried it on and I got it zipped. It is gorgeous. It fits through the bodice but the bust is too loose at the top edge but still I finally, FINALLY fit into it. I'll get Rich to take a few pictures. Now, I can finally let go of the dress and sell it myself. I'll have to list it on eBay with a disclaimer that whoever buys it will not get to wear it but will have a less formal wedding than planned and will get married sooner than they had originally planned. That dress is incredibly (sp) beautiful... Definitely post some pics ... I may go try on mine and see how close im getting.. its a size 16 (real size 14) so Im hoping I can get in it sooooooooon... take care Karen 260/247/140 5-13-05
