3 month visit
You are doing great, Debbie!
Don't compare yourself to others, if you can avoid it. I'm not quite 3 months yet but I'm down 40 lbs...much slower than most of the folks around here but I'm certainly happy. I lost 32 lbs pre-op so I'm down 72 overall. I feel terrific, I look good, and I have lots of energy. Wouldn't trade that for a smaller number on the scale along with the crappy feelings. Nope.
Do I get a little sad feeling when I see folks that started in the same weight zone as me and they have lost 5, 10, 15, 20 more pounds than me? Sure. But I look at how far I've come already and look at what I am doing and there is nothing I could be doing any differently to speed this up. If I follow the rules set down by my doctor and nut and do my exercise, my body is going to do what it wants to in it's own good time.
As long as I'm headed in the right direction...I'm happy.
Honestly, if my weight loss stopped here and I could maintain my loss - I wouldn't be unhappy.

Good news for yoU!!!! I also had my 3 months check up today. I'm down 53 pounds which I can't believe. I can't wait to go to my 6 months check up. I had a personal goal to be down to 165 at this point but man I'll take 168!!! The good thing is that my scale is one pound less than my doc's but really they are the same because I weight in nekkid. I'm one of those who weighs every few days....I have to see progress, but I don't get down if it doesn't move much so it's all good!
Keep us updated on your losses and congrats again.
