Varicose Veins?

I have a big honker running down the front of my left thigh and the side of my left calf. I swear it wasn't there pre-op. Anybody else? J

Jenny, You probably had that one before but it was buried in the fat. Seems the more I lose, the more varicose veins keep showing up in my legs. Yuck! Lori 384/322/170

Yeah, we were talking about that at our local support group meeting the other night. A lot of people are seeing them post-op. I heard the same thing (that they were probably there pre-op but were just hidden). Julie

Hi Jenny, I don't think they were buried in the fat. I am one of those apple people that have skinny arms and legs and then the huge trunk..(atractive huh?) Any way I now have all these veins popping out as well but my legs are not much smaller because they were never big to begin with....therefore I contend there is more to it than just them being hid in fat. At least they don't hurt because I heard they can be painful. Jane
