Bathing suits
First of all I am blessed that I have lost between 56-60 pounds in the last 3 months. Not for vanity purposes but health purposes! My sugar is 107! I consider myself very priviliged to be one of the fortunate ones, because we have many brothers and sisters suffering.BUT...I went to Macy's last night to get a new bathing suit for Puerto Rico, and I found the cutest halter 2 peice. It's a size 14, and would look fabulous in another 10 pounds. I say this to give myself a challenge. I am not an angel...but starting today I am on a mission! I'm going back to basics, 2 protein drinks and a meal. An hour of cardio a day. I know that I can do this. I know I can, I know I can. And when I do, I'll have cute new pics!
Ummm, I personally wouldn't change my eating habits unless I had gone back to eating unhealthy or poor choices.
I eat 3 small protein based meals a day and 3 protein drinks. Protein drinks aren't replacements for meals. I get about 330 cals a day from my protein drinks. I may be getting 100-200 calories a day from each meal so I'm probably getting in the range of 630-930 calories a day. Going lower than that may not speed up the weight loss - your body needs fuel and energy to burn.
I think the cardio is a great idea.
Just my thoughts,
Kathy
Kathy,
thanks for your thoughts, I know what you're saying, and I have made quite a few unhealthy AND poor choices. Once again, different strokes for different folks, as my doc recognizes protein drinks as meal replacement. (preferably breakfast). My protein drinks are 190 cal each, and then I will have a sensible dinner. My biggest problem is grazing all throughout the day, and thats what I'm looking to eliminate.
