Protein Smoothie

Okay, I've been slacking on my protein supplements lately, so I decided that before I went to bed, I really need to get a shake down. I can do straight milk, but not milk-shake drinks and I really needed more than 10-12 grams, I've only got about 38g of Protein in today. So, I'm digging around in my kitchen, deciding what to make and decided to try a new concoction. I put a scoop of Nectar Lemonade in a magic bullet cup, added about 6 non-sweetened frozen strawberries and about 1/2 cup of water and blended. Wallah! Strawberry-lemonade smoothy good for 24 g of Protien and only 6 carbs. Yummy!

That does sound good. I am sick of those drinks as well. They sound so bad to me. I would rather starve. However I usually make myself have a double once a day. 50 g of protein. I put a frozen banana in the chocolate isopure and it's not too bad. Jane

Well, I am still drinking the vanilla flavored Unjury and I just blend it with 2% milk. I just need to get more than 1 in a day!! And sometimes, I don't finish the one. But its not because I don't like it, just forget about it!!

I must admit I basically WASN'T hitting my protein numbers until I purchased Unjury. Now I am on their direct ship plan and get a Vanilla and Chocolate each month. They last me right up until the next shipment arrives. Its great to know I have a guaranteed 28g right in the morning before I go to work. I have been having some issues remembering to eat, so even if I slack, I know I am just that much closer to hitting my protein numbers. Does anyone else not really eat much? I have an Unjury scoop with 8 oz of 1% milk and a half banana in my Magic Bullet for breakfast and then if im lucky, a few oz of cottage cheese and a hardboiled egg for lunch and then maybe 3 oz of chicken for dinner. Thats it. I cant eat inbetween meals like I did for a while. I used to throw in a cheese stick or something, but now - forget it!! It is sort of frustrating because I am thinking I might not be eating enough...
