I only weigh when I got to the Dr or Dietitian.

Glad to hear I am not alone. I was scale obsessed to say the least, funny thing is I had not had a scale at all and just purchased one that went to 400lbs right before my surgery! I was told at my support group meeting to put it away, so I did. I try to wait until my monthly doc appt, but admit I drug it out just over a week ago and gave in to the lure of the scale at they YMCA just yesterday, thankfully I was down 1lb, lol. Cary

I have a scale at home, but I've never stepped on it... strange eh? I weigh in on Wednesday evenings at TOPS, and that's usually 1lb less than the dr.'s office. Shannon in WI -54 (ish)

I completely relate about the scale! I had to put mine under the counter of the sink in the bathroom! But, I still dig it out about twice a week! What do you guys do when you see people in your life and the first words out of their mouths are "so, how much have you lost now?" I try to say, oh I haven't weighed lately, but I'm as curious as they are and I know that they are only trying to encourage me. If I don't get weighed, then I really don't know how to answer them. Any suggestions?! Thanks. Debb
