I have protein supplement in the car on the way to work. I take my calcium CITRATE (2 Twinlabs chewable wafers - sweet and tart - I like them alot) and two fiber choice tablets on the way to work after my protein. Then breakfast. Then I'll take my B12 (1000 mcg) sublinqual and 2 500 mgs of biotin. A couple of hours later, I chew two chewable multi-vitamins (Kirkland childrens...once I'm done with this bottle I'm switching to Centrum Adult chewables). Then lunch. A couple of hours later, my chewable iron tablets (Nature's Made - which I'll be replacing with Vitron-C) w/ chewable Vit C. C helps us absorb the iron. Then protein supplement. Then I take my B-complex (using Twinlabs yucky liquid B-50 complex). Dinner. Two more calcium CITRATE tablets. Then protein supplement and off to bed.

Hey guys ... What a Bozo I am. I put a msge to you and I accidentally clicked on Becky Sue. Yet in my head I was thinking about you and Becky Sue's reply. The only excuse I have for my mistake is my 4 yr old came in by me and it was all downhill from there. Please go on this post and see my reply. Again I am sorry. Now I must get with Becky Sue and explain to her. Maybe I need to up my Protein!!!! smile Hugs to ya ... Terrylyn

I take 1000mcg Biotin, a tablespoon of liquid calcium citrate and dropperful of sublingual B-Complex every morning, with my tea. I do a 25 oz, 26g of protien Nectar drink on the way to work, and throughout the morning before and after breakfast. At lunch, I take 2 chewable generic Flintstone completes. Like Cathy, as soon as I finish the bottle, I'm switching to Centrum chewables. Before bed, I do another tablespoon of liquid calcium citrate. I also drink a lot of water/CL/etc. throughout the day and all the rest of my protein comes from meals. I average about 600 calories and 70g of protein daily. Water is anywhere from 50oz to 100oz, depending on my motivation....

You don't take a B-12 supplement (in addition to the B-complex)?

It has the B-12 in it, 100% B2, Niacin, and B6, 300 Pantothenic Acid, and 20,000% (yup, twenty-thousand percent) of B12. I really only need to take it weekly according to my Nut but I take it every day, it's just easier to remember that way.

I did the math scarily enough and yep...that sounds like enough B12. I'll let you slide on that. LOL! Lack of B12 can cause nerve damage and I'd really, really hate to see anybody head down that road when it can be prevented with the right amounts of B12. Glad to see you take it daily! Kathy

Gosh Becky Sue ... I guess my brain isn't powered on correctly. Please go onto this post and you'll see I was way off key on replying to you. Sorry to send a screwed up msge. But, I am thankful for the info about the calcium readings. Hey by the way, which 1000 mcg Biotin do you take? I think I'll up my Protein as I also apologized to Kathy and Rich about my boo boo and explained that I might need more Protein for brain food. Hugs to ya ... Terrylyn

That's okay, I knew what you meant... I don't know what kind of Biotin I take, it's just a generic I buy at Target.

Okay, where do you find the TwinLabs? Like another poster, I couldn't choke down any more horse pills, and if I had to keep grinding them up, I was gonna snap. So, I got a free bottle of the liquid stuff with a special at bariatriceating.com and I'm dealing with it, but it's basically pretty nasty, too. I haven't found anything chewable or liquid in the way of citrate at Walmart or Target. So give it up, where do you get it???
