How long???

Hello Mayers How long do you wait to drink? I just finished eatting a grilled chicken salad for my lunch, and I think that I'm waiting TOO LONG to drink. My surgeon told me to wait 45min to 1hr to drink after I eat. I was just curious was other told the same.... OH.. I do some how manage to get in 96oz of water a day , I could probably could get in more if I didn't have to wait sooo long to drink. And yes, I do know the importance of NOT EATTING and DRINKING at the same time.

My nutritionist and surgeon wants me to wait 90 minutes after eating. But, that is too long to still get in my water. So, I typically wait 60 minutes. Lori

My surgeon said to wait only 30-45 minutes. 96oz! OMG! That's amazing! Do you just drink it plain or mixed with something?

I usually wait 30 to 45 minutes. I get so thirsty after I eat - it's hard to wait longer!

30-45 mins. depending on what I've eaten. Heavy meals require a bit longer. Something light, and I can drink in 30 mins.

I was told 30 minutes. I was originally told 30 minutes before and 30 after. Then at my follow-up with my nutritionist I was 10 minutes before and 30 after. Kathy

My Nut also says thirty minutes before and after.

I am also 30/30, but it depends on the meal...obviously doesnt work with buffalo wings!

My surgeon/Nut says 30 minutes before and after eating. I sometimes fudge on the before. I lose track of time and because I have to schedule my meals, sometimes I forget to stop drinking at the right time.

My surgeon says 30 minutes though I have been known to take a baby sip every now and then if something is spicy. Some surgeons say 20 to 30, I dont think i'd be able to wait an hour that's way too long. Morgan 295/255/160
