I exercise twice a day at the gym. Started at 228 on June 1st. As of this date 7/22/05 I have only lost 33 pounds.
When I complete the form located at http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/postopplanner.phtml
it informs me that I should lose 20 pounds june 1-July 1 and then another 20 pounds July 1- August 1.
I did fine the first month, but this month have only lost 10 pounds and we are more than halfway through the month! I am waaay behind.
I exercise at the gym and swim as well. According to the digital readouts on the machines I spend about 600 - 800 calories a day. This doesn't include the pilates I do once/twice a week or the swimming I do! The amount of food I eat is about 600-800 calories according to my records. Fairly balanced on protein and carbs, but find the fats are high. I eat salmon. (But I thought those fats were "good" fats)
WHY can't I lose more than 10 pounds??? What weeks did you find were your slowest? Everyone has a slowdown period, when was yours?
As far as the protein goes, I eat. I don't drink the protein. I will add a half a scoop to cottage cheese if I need to, but mostly my intake of protein is from simply eating the right choices in food.
