How has your body changed since WLS?
I have heard this from other people that you lose from the top down and I can honestly say me too! I have nice flabby arms and thighs now and while I can fit into stuff that I had bought when I lost weight before, I have not purchased anything new! I can now get in my "plier" jeans (long story but it took a friend and some pliers to get them on me before) and I even have some room in them, yahoo! I have noticed I have to really burry my face in my neck to make a double chin now, that feels great! I am so glad I found this May board, it really helps to know that you are progressing right along with other people who had surgery the same time, the MI board was depressing me because it seemed like everyone else was doing better than me :o(
Heres to Jello!

I have found "Compression Clothing"... My daughter is a jock and she needed spandex shorts and tops for volleyball. I got some in 2x and wear them all the time. I wear the tops instead of a bra most days. My boobs are all but gone. I had to buy my first "push-up" the other day just to be able to have cleavage for an outfit.
I've read that "Compression Clothing" helps with the re-absorbtion of the excess skin. (don't quote me because I can't remember the source)... It does kind of make sense. If something holds everything in the right place, the body may remember where it's supposed to go.
Other changes include
* ONE chin
* Braclets, anklets and rings that need to be altered
* Belts being added to the wardrobe because I now have a waist
* This weird hard thing around my neck... I think it's called a collar bone
* Wrinkles

Great post by the way. I'm like you...very much a pear. I'm sure my tummy, butt and thighs will be the very last to go. My breasts are definitely going down...which is a little sad but I still got a full c so I won't complain much. Today I noticed my ankles and wrists are smaller and I do need to resize my wedding ring or surely I will lose it. I do like that my waist is defining more and more.
I understand what most of you are saying about not going down a pant size. I have lost 53 lbs and I started out at a size 18 and I am in a 16 again now. You would think after 53 lbs you could lose a couple sizes. From what I hear once you start losing sizes that sometimes you practically skip a size at one point. Like you might be in one size just a couple weeks. Remember too, the smaller you get the more every 10 lbs is noticeable. It wont take 45 lbs each time to lose a size. Hang in there and remember you are LOSING and you will get there! Where would we be right now if we hadnt had surgery? Good luck all!
