What is prostat 64? Where do you get it? Great protein!

Prostat 64 is very highly concentrated liquid protein - basically all amino acids (no whey or casein). You get 15 grams in one ounce. I must say though that the taste is disgusting but at least you can take it in one or two shots. I have only found it on the internet.

1st I like your picture. I start my day with a protein shake, that's 50 grams of protein, I don't want to but I dooooooooo. Yesterday for lunch I had a cranberry, gorgonzola salad and a small pulled pork sandwich. Dinner was strawberries, 3 meatballs, 2egg rolls, and apple slices. The meal was stretched out over an hour and a half. During the day I had some cheese when I was hungry. Drank lots of water, Lipton lemon diet ice tea and all vitamins.

Yesterday wasn't a good day food wise. Didn't get much in, but didn't feel like eating much either. Breakfast: Water - about 20 oz snack: None Lunch: 3/4 of a 3 oz can of chicken (15 grams/protein entire can, so probably about 12 grams) Snack: About 1/4 of an Atkins Endulge chocolate and crispy bar (6 grams/protein entire bar, so probably about 1.5 grams) Dinner: I made fat free tortilla chips (6) and 1/2 cup low fat cheddar nachos and ate 1/2 of it. (about 5 grams/protein) Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein drink in OJ (at 6:30) (35 grams/protein) Snack: at 9:15 - 1 string cheese (8 grams/protein) Water, I had about 50 oz, took my multi-vitamin, iron, and 2 calcium.

B: Dannon low-carb smoothie (yummy) + Nectar protein drink L: 3oz roasted pork D: stir-fry with 4oz pork and 6oz Chinese greens (plus some insanely hot spices) Snacks were an Elite chocolate + milk protein shake (yuck - I can drink milk solo, it's the Elite that I hate but am too cheap to throw out!), some dill pickles (Mt. Olive's jalapeno baby dills are powerful and addictive), and a scrambled egg. I'm trying to get my calories up (yesterday was 950), but today I kept forgetting to eat (again). I've had some chicken soup, one string cheese, and a protein drink... and good grief, that's it? That's all I've eaten today? Bad girl!

2 chewable children's vitamins, one potassium supplement, Prevacid, and sublingual B-12. B: Unjury unflavored protein mixed with Rasberry Ice Crystal Lite. I drink most of the 24oz bottle while I'm walking in the morning, taking constant small sips. Makes the protein go down. 12g protein L: 20oz bottle of grape pre-mixed Grape Frost Isopure. A little sweet and as many people point out...a little "filmy," but I'll take it over a shake any day because it goes down without making me gag! Plus, 40g protein! D: 3/4 cup small cooked shrimp dipped in homemade ****tail sauce (Hellman's Zero Carb Ketchup/Worchestshire Sauce) 27g protein + one half power crunch bar 7g protein 64oz+ of water throughout the day and a calcium supplement at night. I'm on a funky diet per my surgeon. He doesn't allow snacking (so I won't tell him about my SF popsicles), and since I don't tolerate solids well, he has me on two liquid meals/one regular meal per day. Until November!

Ok I had an EGD on Wednesday so I had to be on full liquid yesterday but here it goes: B - Carb Milk (12g P) with Carnation Instant breakfast Strawberry (4g P) S - Cream of Mush Soup at hand (3g P) with 2tbs MLO Veg. Protein (17g P) L - Tomato Soup (3g P) made with Carb Milk (8g P) S - Cream of Broccoli soup at Big Boy's (est 4g P) D - Tomato Soup (3g P) made with Carb Milk (8g P) My friend just introd me to the Carb Milk its 12g of Protein is much higher than any other milk product I found and bonus its low carb. I also just bought the MLO veg protein yesterday it has 17 grams of protein in just 2tbsp, is low carb and its tasteless so you can add it to anything, today I added it to my tomato soup combo and increased it from 11 to 28 grams of protein and it still tasted great! I am back to soft foods now, so will see what else I can add it to. Cary

I've been reading this thread with interest because, like you all, I'm two months post-op (May 24th) and having a hard time with food and fluid. I know I don't get all my protein or liquid in. When I wake up in the morning the last thing that seems to want to pass my lips is food. Before surgery my bad habit was to skip breakfast and lunch....eat dinner and snack constantly throughout the evening. Lately, I've been skipping breakfast...having a couple sips of protein shake (EAS AdvantEdge) for lunch and then having a small dinner. Today looked like this: B: one chewable calcium tablet, one chewable multivitamin S: Crystal Lite and my thyroid pill L: Two sips of protein shake to take iron D: 6 chicken "Fries" from Burger King and ice water S: couple pieces of beef jerky, one small piece of cheese, 32 oz. of Crystal Lite, chewable calcium And that's it. I have no hunger How do I force myself to get everything in that I need when just the thought of it makes me cringe?? Nothing I eat makes me sick...I have a cast iron stomach.
