Hi fellow May people. I haven't had time to post anything lately and I'm still trying to catch up on this week's posts. I hope everyone is having a fabulous week! It's hot here in Texas...helps with weight loss, lol. I love to hear what everyone is eating. I think it gives us new ideas. My hardest meal to eat is breakfast. Even as a child I would hardly touch it...I'm not hungry until after 10 or so! But I really sit down daily and try to eat something. What did you eat yesterday?? B: First thing in the a.m., glass of 14g protein milk. An hour later I had about an 1 1/2 and cheese on 4 thin crackers. L: 3 oz. of chicken breast baked in parmesean crust, 2 bites of macaroni and 2 bites of mashed potatoes Snack: 1 venti Splenda sweetened Green Iced tea from Starbucks (amazing drink for me...feels like I"m super cheating) D: 3 sm. meatballs with spaghetti sauce, very few noodles Snack: Slim Fast Lo Carb drink, 20 g. protein 2 Flintstones, 2 servings of liquid calcium, Iron pill, all liquids in Would love to see what was on your menu! Ana 221-179-130 I need to get a new picture up!

This is a great idea Ana and breakfast is hard for me as well. (Yesterday's menu) Breakfast - one hard boiled egg and a gas X (I can eat them now) Snack - Cheese and crackers - can't do string cheese, but 2% cut in slices with about 3 Wheatables Snack - 3 Wheatables and Peter Pan Low Carb Peanut Butter (tasty) Lunch - Tuna (light mayo, low carb pickles, hardboiled egg) and maybe 3-4 wheatables Dinner - Hubby cooked a pot roast and rice with string beans and corn - I just ate the pot roast a little gravy and string beans. Scared to try corn and I really want POPCORN!! I miss it.

Breakfast is hard for me, too. First thing I do when I wake up is heat up some water for decaf tea (gave up my coffee... ) The warm tea seems to help me prepare my pouch for other things. Before I leave for work, I make a 25 oz shaker of Nectar/CL and drink half of the on the way to work. B: Usually, 1 scrambled egg with cheese or sometimes, oatmeal with a few raisins S: Rest of my Nectar L: Usually, fish from the cafeteria, if it's baked, or some Tuna Salad, green bean salad and some olives from the salad bar. Today I have 1/2 a Southbeach Diet Wrap meal leftover from dinner last night. They're GREAT! S: SF Fudgescicle when I get home from work (I would seriously not make it through the day without this. It's my junkfood, soda, coffee and cigarettes all rolled up in one... D: Yesterday, 1/2 the southbeach diet wrap meal, but it just depends on what the family's having, sometimes chicken, sometimes baked fish, whatever... S: Sometimes I have a couple of small pita chips (they're garlicy and crunchy, low fat and have some protein) If my protein count is down for the day, I'll have a glass of milk. Sometimes I have another SF popsicle...

Man, I wish you'd asked this question a different day, because I had a weird day yesterday! B: Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage Patty. (10g of protein and very yummy), multivitamin, cod liver oil, b12, and prilosec. L: 3-4 oz of FF Refried Beans with LF Shredded Cheddar and Salsa--so yummy. (15g protein) Protein Break: Atkins Protein Bar: 17g protein D: Mashed Potatoes and Cheese, Spinach Salad with Goat Cheese and Cranberries (15g protein). Another multivitamin. And, about 60-70oz of water throughout the day. I normally get a less carby dinner in and another round of protein, but I had dinner with a friend last night and the menu was all fried foods or beef, so I just did the best I could. What flavors of Prostat have you tried? Boy, I've gotten flamed bad on my local support group message board because I take this stuff! I'm glad someone else is taking this stuff.

I've only tried the orange mist and it's disgusting just like the others. But you gotta do what you gotta do.... Why were you flamed?

There is a guy who is used to come speak to our support group as a nutritional expert (never had gastric bypass). He said that the protein in Prostat is a very low quality protein and is totally opposed to its use. However, my arguement is that isn't a lower quality protein better than no protein for those of us who have a really hard time stomaching the protein shakes?

My surgeon told me to take it so it cannot be bad for us. Sorry for the hijack everyone....
