Dear Candy, I usually read all the posts ahead of mine but didn't because I'm out of time. So if this is redundant forgive me. I had my surgery the same day as you. I have lost 34 pounds and am on some level disappointed. I have been walking and working out with weights and swimming. I wanted more weight off also and think that if I keep up losing at this speed I may never see the weight that I would like to be some day. But then I tell myself slower is healthier for my body, my skin is having more time to shrink back and slow means it is really fat no****er et****ep in mind that I am healtier and look better than I have in years and try to be happy with that,. Good luck I wish you all the best and I do absolutely understand your disappointment. Jane

Candy, please don't feel discouraged. That's about 4 pounds per week, which I think is a fantastic job.

I had my surgery on June 14th and have lost 28lbs. But I also count the weight I lost pre op which was 20lbs, which makes me a total of 48lbs. I am not exercising as much as I should , but it's been so hot, too hot for me to walk, plus I am feeling tired lately, but hey a few pounds a week will do me fine! At least I can get out and walk and do resistance when I can't. Chin up, you will lose Hugs!
