SMOOTHIES ANYONE??

Many of you indicated that you make smoothies for breakfast. I would love to know how you mix them and what you use. Please also list the steps. Do you use yogurt or not? I am lactose intolerant! Your ideas are definitely welcomed!!!

Lakisha, I use yogurt or kefir when I have it, but, I also make smoothies with light soy milk. My favorite is 8th Continent, sugar free vanilla. This is how I make my favorite smoothie. 1 cup sf vanilla soy milk 1/2 frozen blueberries 1/3 frozen banana 1 teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate 2 packets of Splenda 1 scoop of Isopure Creamy Vanilla Protein Powder Blend it in blender until smooth. It has 32 grams of protein in this recipe. Lori

Lakisha, I use: 1.5 scoops of AnyWhey Protein Powder 8 oz Skim Milk 1/2 banana (I dont use ice) Just blend all ingredients. I'm sure Lactaid might work pretty well.
