May Folks !!!
Hey guys, I would love to know what you are eating for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Breakfast - Trying cottage cheese tomorrow
Lunch - Tuna in light mayo, a little egg, and salt/pepper. I also put a little pickle in it as well. 4 or 5 Wheatable Crackers
Dinner - Chicken breast sometimes with a little BBQ sauce with green beans
WHAT ARE YOU EATING????????????????
Im eating everything! lol I am not really on any schedule since I sleep till 2 or 3 in the afternoon. When I wake up I drink some water then I eat something (cream of wheat with jelly preserves or maybe cottage cheese) then a few hours later I eat whatever was made for dinner (tonight was white chicken chili) and then I eat again a few hours later (maybe a piece of fish or SF pudding) and in between meals I drink water (or juice with water) and once a day I drink a 5oz can of V8. I tried Egg Beaters last night and YUCK, it did NOT agree with me. I have had egg salad and did just fine on that. I feel like I eat too much, and have often thought of going back to full liquids to help with my weight loss... but damn I love to chew my food!

Since I gave up coffee, I start every morning with a cup of decaf tea, it gets my pouch receptive to the idea of food.
On the way into work, I start on my 25 oz Nectar/CL Protein Drink worth 30gms of protein. I get about half of it in and then do breakfast at work. Today, I did a little cream of wheat. Sometimes I do a scrambled egg. It just depends. We have a cafeteria so I can get pretty much whatever.
After breakfast, I finish my Nectar.
Lunch - depends on how lazy I am. If I packed a lunch, it's usually a few small pieces of grilled chicken, some raw edemames, a piece of cheese, a chunk of watermelon, etc. It just depends. 2 oz of protein, 1 oz of "other"
If I don't pack, I get about a 1/3 cup of tuna off the salad bar, through on a few black olives and sunflower seeds and grab some crackers.
Water or CL all afternoon.
After work I usually have a SF Fudgescicle - I'm pretty sure I'd go postal without them.
Dinner - Today I had leftover lo-carb meatloaf. Yesterday we went to B-dubs (BW3s) and had naked chicken tenders. Whatever the family is having and our schedule allows, basically.
Evening - 10 oz of milk and oh yeah, typically, another fudgescicle...
Pre-Breakfast: Cup o' decaf coffee.
Breakfast: Tuna salad made with mayo and SF pickle relish.
Lunch: Chicken cutlet (breaded with almond flour and parm cheese)
and some Stouffers spinach souffle
Snack: Nectar Lemon Tea protein drink (scoop and a half)
Dinner: Salmon and some green beans
Snack: Nectar Lemon Tea protein drink (scoop and a half)

I always start the day with a protein drink early- then at about 10 I have a protein bar, at noon I have either a piece of cheddar cheese, a string cheese, or some cottage cheese. Water in the morning and afternoon. I get off work at 2 and usually eat an early dinner. I try to make good meals that are healthy for the whole family- this week we've been eating turkey chili alot- I made a big pot of it. I add unflavored protein to mine.
SF pudding, popcicle, or fudgecicle if I still want something.
It usually depends on the day. I usually start out with a cup of coffe. Then I have my protein drink for breakfast. I have been eating a piece of cheese before I go to the gym. I drink water while working out. I sometimes have a protein drink for lunch or a little meat. For dinner I have been having a little bit of meat. Today I had tomato soup with protein powder and some cheese. I am drinking some surger free koolaide right now. I have a sf banana pop sometimes as well. I have not been doing much real food so i try to get protein in the drinks.
At seven weeks out, I'm allowed to eat about anyting except our do not eat list. Here's some of the things I've been doing this week
Chili - self made to cut down on the fat and add extra beans.
Nacho - this seems bad but it's only 5 little chips crushed with a lot of meat and beans, cheese, green olives and a dab of FF sour cream. (the whole thing only covers about 1/2 of a small saucer plate)
Tuna - a little light mayo and 4 whole wheat crackers
Eggs - can't usually eat one egg. But i've done scrambled with a little added cheese, hard boiled and just ate it, and egg salad sandwish without any bread
Fish - I make baked cod!!! It's very good. no "fishie" taste to it.
As far as drinks go - I pretty much stick with water. WalMart's SF To Go Sticks just seem way too sweet to me. And I can't do sweet anymore!!! I did make a jar of decaf sun tea last week and over three days drank it all.
I haven't tried too many different things. I'm too afraid to find out that my pouch won't tollerate it.
Hey Lakisha,
Because it's Summer-time, I don't have to play drill sargent in the morning. (I have two teenagers and usually need a cattle prod to get them going on school days). I make a leisurely pot of "half/caf", nuke a package of instant oatmeal. I loosen this up with skim milk, eat half for breakfast and put half in a container for later in the day. Our garden is starting to produce, so there are tons of veggies to choose from. Because we get soo many zuccini, my husband shreds them when they get to 10 inches. We drain the shreds and make patties with breadcrums, egg and a little grated cheese. I freeze what we don't need for another day. These patties are great warm or cold.
B - 4oz oatmeal
S - 2oz of Zuccini Patties
L - 2oz of lowfat Habanero/Cheddar cheese
S - 2oz of yogrit (not my favorite) or the other half of oatmeal
D - Shredded or diced meat of one kind or another.... 2-3oz
I try to get in a half to full bottle of "Isopure" to make sure that I'm getting enough protein. I also drink a lot of Crystal Lite and water...
Have a Great Weekend...
