Tired of the spotlight??
Lori, Been there done that one. My ex mother in law is the worst. Every time I see her it is well so and so daughter had it done and this happened. Last time I just flat out told her that I appreciate her concern but if I wanted to see my kids graduate that I had to make this life change and her stories were making it harder on me. I think she got the picture.

How frustrating Kat! Kids are something else huh? My 4 year old doesn't know exactly what happened to me. She knows that the surgeon made my stomach smaller and she's very aware that I eat a lot of soft foods. I know the other day she said to me ,"Can you eat this mom? Is it soft enough?" Thankfully she hasn't said anything to anyone else but I suppose I'll deal with it if it does.
You're very much allowed to vent. Keep up that chin and keep dropping those pounds.
