WHAT IS GOING ON...

HI GUYS, I WAS HOPING TO FIND OUT IF DUMPING LAST FOR A WEEK ARE I HAVE SOMETHING ELE. FRIDAY I HAD A LITTLE BUTTER POPCORN AND TWO HOT WINGS YESSS BAD GIRL AND EVERY SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD STOMACH CRAMPS AND DIARRHEA FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCE THIS. TRACEY,

I wouldn't expect it to last a whole week. I had popcorn last night and felt a little sick to my stomach but it passed after about an hour. Everyone is different but that small amount of food couldn't bother you all week. Maybe you have some kind of summer bug? Hope you fel better.......Jen

I've had hot wings, didn't have a problem from them. I haven't had popcorn because I was told not to. Not sure why though.

I think popcorn is considered off-limits by some surgeons because it's hard to digest. Mine didn't mention it. I've been eating hot wings since week six - yum!

Hi. My surgeon told me that popcorn is a NO-NO. It's one of the hardest things to digest, but I wouldn't think it would last as long is yours is lasting. maybe you should call just to ask Depsy

I am not sure if I was on a suicide mission or what BUT....... I tried popcorn at the movie theater. I have not cheated on ANYTHING in my 8 weeks since surgery and we went to the movies for the first time on sunday and I ate about 10 pieces of popcorn. Only 3 then I waited until the movie was half over and ate a little more. ( wanted to see how I would do ) it was killing me to smell it and my hubby was eating Mint n chip dreyers ice cream and buttered popcorn and if I had a club I would have used it on him!! It was 102 outside and they didnt have sugar free ice cream!!!! After the movie I made him drive around for a TCBY or some other yogurt place so I could have a non fat, sugar free frozen yogurt. No such luck. The suicide part is that I have a stricture and ulcer and popcorn wasnt a very good choice at all. But I did fine, thank goodness. Chylene 290/243/145
