Another poll....
Here are the questions for this weeks poll....
1. How many weeks post op are you?
2. What stage of diet has your doctor got you on? If you are not on solid foods yet, when do you expect to be released to eat solids?
3. What has been your favorite new pouch friendly food so far?
Here's mine....
1. I'm 6 weeks and five days post op.
2. I'm still on pureed/soft foods. I cannot eat solids until I'm 8 weeks out. I CAN'T WAIT!
3. I am in love with watermelon and SF fudgesicles!
Hi Heather,
1) I'm 6 weeks post-op
2) I'm supposed to be on regular food, but I'm still doing 5 2oz protein meals/day (It's working for me and it's easier for me to prepare). I'll look at expanding my choices after I get back from Vacation on the 18th.
3) My favorite food was and is... Habanero Cheddar cheese. Yes, Habanero... Hot is my passion (sounds kinky).... I am lucky that it doesn't bother my pouch.
Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th....

1. I'm exactly 7 weeks out today!
2. I'm on regular food, with a few restrictions - no salad yet, and I've been DYING for a salad!
3. I'm loving the SF Fudgscicles, too! Also, SF Peanut Butter and Tuna or egg salad. Love baked fish, but it apparently doesn't love me. Everytime I eat it,

Hello I am a little over 9 weeks post op. I am on regular food except that they really do not want me eating carbs or pasta's. I can add complex carbs back in at 7 months post op. I have had some low carb tortillas though. I am doing ok i have lost 44 pouns since surgery. I have not weighed in over two weeks though. My favorite food is suger free banana pops. they are the bomb.
Hi Mayers,
1. I am exactly on the day 6 weeks post op.
2. I am on pureed foods per my doctor for 3 months.
3. I love medium to hot Salsa, you can't imagine how I crave it. It is strange I liked salsa before the surgery, but I liked sweets more. Now I go straight to the salsa. I won't eat the chips that go along with salsa, I just use them to dip with.

1. How many weeks post op are you? 5 weeks today!
2. What stage of diet has your doctor got you on? If you are not on solid foods yet, when do you expect to be released to eat solids? soft foods/some regular
3. What has been your favorite new pouch friendly food so far? I haven't had too many problems with foods although I haven't experimented too much. I did have some grilled salmon over the weekend and it was divine. I also am into pizza flavored pringles - just one or 2 chips a day satisfies my craving for pizza (my pre-op fave), plus they melt in your mouth.
