FINALLY....THE SCALE MOVED!!!!

Hi MAYers.......... I'm sooo excited because I lost 7 pounds overnight. I have been stuck.....and I mean STUCK for a long time at the same weight. i guess I'm holding ALOT of water weight because i took a water pill yesterday and I peed ALL DAY LONG!!!! I guess I need to take them more often. My doctor said I could take them as often as I felt necessary. I have a whole new excitment for loosing this weight now. I'm 7 weeks post op and down 37 pounds now. I lost the first 30 in the first 2 weeks pot op. I hope I continue to see the scale move down and down and down!!!! Take Care, Depsy

What kind of water pills are you on? I drink, drink, drink all day and only pee MAYBE twice a day... so I am wondering if I am holding a lot of water in as well. Congrats on the 37 pounds! Kathy

My doctor gave me a bunch of refills of Lasix. I guess its one of the stronger water pills. I had the same problem....I would only pee 2 or 3 times a day. I would ask your doctor about it. take Care, Depsy

My gosh, we must be twins! I had surgery on May 19th and started at 267 pounds. I too have lost 38 pounds to date and am praying for those last two pounds! I was also stuck at 240 for the longest time and it was just last week that the scale began to move again. Small world, huh!
