Head Cold/Meds

I am six weeks out and have a head cold and sore throat. Has anyone been told anything about over-the-counter medications for congestion/headache?

Does Tylenol make liquid cold medicine? That should be okay to take, but check with your doc to be sure. Hope you feel better! Hugs, Tracy

Definitely call your doctor. Some medicines can be real harsh on our little stomas!

Definitely try Zicam (think that is the name). It comes in nasal swabs. Basically it is zinc and zinc is known to lessen the effects of a cold. My doc/nutrititionist recommended it and it was on our list of things to have on hand. Feel better! Kathy
