New Shoes

I had to go buy new shoes yesterday - a half size smaller than I wore pre-op. My old shoes were literally slipping off of my feet!! So, not only have I lost clothing sizes, I've lost 1/2 a shoe size, too!! (Size 9 to 8-1/2) So, I used my new shoes to go take my 45 minute walk today!! They felt mahhhvelous! Michelle

I keep waiting for that to happen. Last time I lost a significant amount of weight, I dropped from a size 10W to a size 9, so I'm looking forward to all of those size 9s in my closet fitting again. I can't wait!

OMG, Michelle, so did I!!!! I bought new shoes on Saturday and I got a 9 1/2 wide rather than my usual 10 wide. Isn't it awesome! Hugs, Tracy

Michelle.......hey I actually had to donate most of my shoes! But silly me kept one pair of sandles I thought I could still wear....I ended up falling down....tripped in them because they were tooooo BIG!!! Boy.....just what I needed post-op is a good side walk coming up at me fast! We'll be in high heels in no time! LOL! God Bless!!! Sally 318/285

When I hit the two week mark, I went to by me a new pair of sandles because the ones I had were falling apart. I went from a size 10 to a size 8 1/2! I was trying on every pair of 8 1/2 size shoes in Wal-Mart! My son was actually laughing his but off at me. He would pick out some of the ugliest shoes and say, see if you can wear these. We would both laugh at how silly they looked, but he (at eight years old) seemed to understand why this was such a big deal!
