WOW moment!

I had my first WOW moment a couple of weeks age and it wasn't anything that I expected! I went shoe shopping and went to the size 10 section just like always. However, none of them fit! I went to the 9 1/2 section....didn't fit either. I ended up in the 8 1/2 section!!! I was trying on every 8 1/2 size shoe that I could get my hands on. They all fit! Who would have thought that my feet would lose the weight like that! As I was rummaging through all of the 8 1/2 shoes like a maniac, another lady walked up and was trying on shoes. She made a comment that she had 70 pairs of shoes, but she lost 80lbs and had to give them all away. Turns out that she had WLS the year before! Small world huh!

I wish I could be that lucky! LOL! I did find that in the past year or so that my foot size creeped up from a 12 (yes, you read that right!) to more of a 12.5 (which isn't made) to a 13 (which were a bit big on me). Now, 57 lbs down since mid-Feb (start of pre-op weight loss)...I think I'm down to 12 again. Problem with me is...I've been a 12 since I was a freshman in high school. And no matter what I weighed from thereafter with the exception of the past year...167-276... I always wore a 12. So I'm not expecting any miracles here. Kathy
