I'm having a hard time getting all my fluids and protein in. The days I get all my fluids and protein in, I don't get my vitamins in. I'm trying ot establish a schedule that will make it easier, and the best way I can think of to get my vitamins in is to take them all in the AM (like a breakfast). Is that okay to do? Also, At Wal Mart in the new summer items section, they have a 64 ounce cup with a straw for like, $2. I fill it in the AM and drink it all day. Great way to get all your fluids in! Try not to take your calcium and iron or daily vitamin w/iron at the same time. Iron and calcium can cancel each other if taken at the same time.

So if I take all my daily vitamins in the AM, then take my calcium in the PM, I should be okay? I don't have to space them out throughout the day (that's what makes me forget to take them...I get busy and WHoops! There goes my memory!). Whadaya think? Gina (I VOW to get better about this...)

I take everything except the iron/daily vitamin the morning - then I usually take it at lunch time. Somebody made a suggestion about a pill organizer - not a bad idea!

The only thing I was told not to combine was Calcium and Iron. They fight for absorbtion rights and Calcium always wins, so if you take them together, you won't get your iron. My iron comes from my multi vitamin so I take those separately. Typically, I do my B12, Biotin and 1 calcium in the AM, my multis at lunch time, and my other calcium before bed. Good find on the cup! I use my shaker from bariatriceating.com and fill it 3 times, once before I leave for work, once after lunch and once when I get home. That gives me 75 oz. I may grab a couple of those cups from Walmart though, just to have on hand! Becky 287/256/140ish

I have a 7-day pill case with compartments for morning, noon, evening, and bedtime. It really helps to keep the schedule straight, and I can tell at a glance what's left to be taken. Maybe you could try one vitamin in the morning and one at bedtime? Once you establish the habit of taking them, you should have fewer problems remembering to do so. (not only do I have to remember my own pills, I have to remember to give my cat *his* thyroid med twice a day!)
