EGGS!!!
I completely understand what your saying. When I coundn't get enough protein everyone kept suggesting eggs. I had the very same reaction and that was with scrambled eggs. Someone told me that eating them as egg salad is easier. I completely agree with that suggestion. I found I had to add alot of fat free mayo before I could tolerate them. I personally just don't bother. To scared to get that feeling.
The backpain is heart burn. You get that when its over by your gallbladder. I don't have my gallbladder anymore, but some foods still cause me to get that same feeling as when I had gallstone attacks.
Just don't ru**** Listen to your body, its trying to tell you its not ready for it yet.

Scrambled eggs, plain, have been okay. Not great, but okay. When I put cheese on them, or some meat with them, hoo boy, that has NOT felt good.
But I've had egg salad almost every day now for 2 weeks with absolutely no problem. Its been wonderful!
I think the way the egg is made does indeed make a difference.
