For the ladies...FINALLY
Looks like my missing cycle has been found (just in time for my endoscopy tomorrow...how lovely). 39 days since my last period. Now that is a record for a 26-28 day cycle kind of gal. The worst part was feeling like it was going to start for the past 14 days. Ick! Hopefully things will regulate a bit better from here on out- wishful thinking, I know, but hey...I can handle irregular cycles with weight coming off, ya know?
Kathy
I hope the cycle start didn't take you too much by surprise!
Ugh, it's the *waiting* for a cycle to start that drives me batty. Two or three days beforehand, I'm almost alway**** with a bout of, um, intestinal unpleasantness. When that happens, I'm on edge waiting for the start.
And now that I have all brand new panties (Lane Bryant size 22/24, since the 26/28 ones are now too big!), I really don't want to miscalculate...
Oh, I can handle irregular cycles. Now if only I could get back to the "weight coming off" part...
Ummm, without going into detail...my cycle started "gently" so no surprise issues!
I got the intestinal unpleasantness this morning and lo and behold...my cycle. I can deal with that.
You plateauing a bit? Have you tried clothing on? Do you see a change? Even though the scale may not be moving...there could be changes in size.
Best wishes, Kathy
My weight hasn't changed for about three weeks, but I lost another inch around both the waist and belly since then. Thank goodness I've been measuring since the beginning, or I'd be in utter despair by now!
It often seems that my cycle starts gently if I'm at home at the time. If I'm out and about, it likes to start with a flood. My body hates me.
hey ladies! Another cycle buddy here. I got mine on friday night ( really kicked in on saturday morning, day of family reunion! ) and I was 2 weeks late also. 2nd period since surgery. I am still on it. I was always a 4 sometimes 5 dayer. I am hoping it stays the same.

NO LONGER MORBIDLY OBESE!!!!
I used the term "intestinal unpleasantness" actually from someone else. I don't normally have digestive issues before my cycle but did this morning. I have no idea if this is going to be the "norm" or not. Guess I have to wait another month (or two at the rate this was going...) to find out! Oh boy!
Good luck to ya!

Don't feel bad, I haven't had a period since 2002...
I got pregnant with my daughter, went on Depo Provera right after she was born. Stopped last January but still no monthly friend. My OBGYN is not happy with me for letting it go this long... She's got me on Pregesterone or "jump start" me...
I haven't missed it a BIT!
