Made me smile
I have been kind of down lately because the pounds don't seem to be just falling off like I hear everyone else talking about. It's been almost 4 weeks out and I have lost about 23 pounds. Some people have said sometimes its not the pounds but the inches. This just made me more depressed because my clothes didn't feel like they were getting very loose. I was kind of scared to take my measurements, and have been putting it off. Today I finally took my measurements and wow I lost 14 1/2 inches. Of coarse its all in the wrong places like my neck, chest, and waist. I lost a little on my hips, but not enough to make a difference. Yah, I wi**** were in other spots, but its a beginning and its working.

I'm 4 weeks out today and I've only lost 21.5 lbs and I seem to be on my second plateau already (the first lasted 5 days!). It does get a little depressing. I haven't remeasured yet, I'm waiting until 6/23 (1 month). I have noticed a small difference in waist, my jeans are more comfortable. Anyhow, I know how you feel when you know you are only eating about 16 oz. a day and of course water, how can you not lose?
I'm 4 weeks out today and I've lost exactly 23 pounds, so I know exactly how you feel! Does anyone know if this speeds up later on? It feels excruciatingly slow, and you can't help but wonder what you're doing wrong. And I have afriend who asks me every week, "Okay, so spill....how many pounds?" and I have to keep responding in 2 pound increments....sheesh. She keeps looking at me like I'm diong something wrong...and I can't help but feel guilty. Golly Moses! I hope this gets better soon! The mindset is what kills ya!
