Hi April! I've been on this stage for 2 weeks I think and I have a little more than 2 weeks to go. At first I was excited to get to this stage and then I was frustrated because well, everything had to be pureed! lol I started slowly by adding one to two meals per day of pureed foods. Now I regulary eat chicken/egg/or tuna salads pureed, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, turkey w/ gravy, moist/tender chicken, soups and today I ate some pureed beef patties with gravy(well 2 oz. worth). Everything agress with me but there are those who can't tolerate eggs and meats. Oh, I also do cream of wheat and oatmeal. I still do a shake a day to meet my requirements. I'm now very used to this stage. Oh, I'll admit if something is very moist, I won't puree it but will chew it very well. My dietician was okay with that. Good luck!

The ONLY thing that was palatable to me was soups. Everything else just was gross to me. I did eat yogurt, apple sauce, and refried beans which were okay, though.

Hi April, I started on pureed this week and boy has it been eventful. I found everything had to be pretty much soup consistency or . I couldn't wait to be on pureed and when I finally got to its been an adventure trying to figure out what my body will tolerate. All I can say is act on the cautious side and listen to your body. --Sabrina

I've been on pureed for over 2 weeks now and I'm dying to crunch something! I eat mashed potatoes, cream of wheat, oatmeal, refried beans, yogurt, SF pudding, strained cream soups, SF applesauce, cottage cheese....hmm..I think that's about it. I also made a baked potato once and smashed it up really good with a little sour cream. Best of luck to you!

I can eat pureed canned chicken with some low fat mayo but cannot eat Tuna... I've also had success with eggs and cottage cheese. Then I just refer back to the liquid because I know it won't be a problem! Sue McD

I'm just the opposite: I can do the Tuna, but not the Chicken. Weird, huh? Gina
