week 5/22 post opers
Hey Morgan,
I gave up on protein shakes cause the during and after taste was killing me. I finally found Unjury Vanilla that I could stomach. It actually tastes pretty good. I'm 20lbs. down and have been stuck since the 2 week mark. I'm tolerating everything I eat (beans, meat, rice, and so forth) (pureed of course). I start Jazzercise tomorrow and am very excited, hoping it will restart my weightloss. Take care and God Bless....Lynette Hall
I'm 3 weeks and I've lost 20 lbs. I've already had 1 5-day plateau and I think I'm starting another plateau because the scales haven't moved for several days. My energy level is starting to pick up a bit. It still feels like someone turns the switch off because one minute I'll have energy and the next it's gone! I've been able to tolerate most foods. I have found one food that I used to absolutely love and now I don't really like anymore....Taco Time's seasoned meat (taco salad, taco burgers, etc.) Yay.... I don't have a craving for it anymore!
Linda,
I too am in the same boat. I have lost 21 pounds and actually gained back 7 of those pounds shortly after week two. This is my beginning of week three and I have not lost anything or gained any more, however, I have dropped one size in clothing and my rings and bracelets are swimming on me. I am losing the inches at this point. I too have increased energy but do feel low at certain times of the day or when I have not had enough protein intake. I am hoping my body is catching up to the shock I have put it into and now it is healing before it will move on again. Someone please tell me I get another jump start!!!

I'm down 27lbs. I do Smoothie King and get whatever flavor and have them add Gladiator" protein to it=45 grams 20 oz. Delicious treat! Also Snickers has a good protein bar out that gives 26 grams of protein. Wal-mart sells them, check in pharmacy. They are rich so I cut it up in small squares and put it in a zip-lock and leave it on the counter. Nibble here and a nibble there!
