That is the question. should I be paying attention to how many calories are going in. How many is to many or even vice versa. I have only been averaging about 400 calories a day. I thought that was pretty good but I am not sure. Thanks for the responses!! Bethannie

Not I. I wasn't told to. I do my 3 meals and two protein supplements and that's it. Figured that it doesn't matter whether it's 400 cals or 500 at this point in the game. I eat what I can but don't pu**** I eat protein first, vegies second. Haven't tried any fruit yet. Kathy

I wasn't told to count calories but I did check in with my Nut when I was having problems getting more than 400 in. She told me that I really should try and get up closer to 800 and to add 100% juice with protein powder to supplement, if I couldn't do milk.

Amen to the above. I have been entering my food intake on fitday.com to track my protein. I got a little freaked out when I saw my daily average calories were under 400. I got lots of reassurance from my MN buddies that I shouldn't worry and just focus on the protein and the fluids. I have terrific energy, so it is just a number. Hang in there, it's just the beginning. Hope you are doing well otherwise. J

Doc said not to worry about calories , so I don't. He said focus on protein and water which is what I do. Morgan
