Eleven days post-op!!! Whoopie!

Dear May Babies! Thank you all for your prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts.....they worked! I was blessed with the BEST surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of working with, Dr. Keith Kim. As a patient and an RN, I have never had a doctor call my home to personally inquire as to my well being......until Dr. Kim! But hearing his voice on the other end of the phone was not only a comfort but not even shocking after the wonderful care he gave me pre-op, inter-op and post-op. He truely is a blessed man who cares deeply about his patients and profession. I feel I was divinely lead to him.......and now after a "text-book" surgery and recovery I am looking forward to my new lease on life. Here's to Dr. Kim........one in a trillion! Sally, Glad to hear you are doing so well! And congrats on the 46 lbs gone forever! I too feel the same way about my surgeon - Dr. Rollin Thrift. He has called me at home several times before and after surgery. What a great man! I had never had a Dr. call me at home either, and it does let you know how much he cares about his patients. Dear Caren, You can't believe what an impact your words...."Gone Forever!" made on me! How miraclous is that! All my life the scale has gone up and down and up and up!
