Hey TMB Peeps! I'm sorry I've been quiet here lately...but I've been healing, lol. I should be posting more but I HAVE been reading lately. It's been two weeks and a day since my surgery and I've lost 19 pounds. The thing is...I really can't tell! I think it will take 20 for me to feel a really big difference. Hubby says it is coming mostly off my tummy (fine by me) and he said my face looks smaller (whoopee). I've been feeling mostly great. Today for the first time I woke up nauseous (sp?) and icky...surgeon says that's typical. I've been feeling a little bit just yuck today but not too much to be complaining so I'll stop. I'm drinking my water, taking those vitamins, and trying to get all that wonderful protein in. Can't wait to be further out like some of you....ya'll are doing so great and look so good!!! I'm thankful for this surgery! Ana

Ana, I'm also 2 weeks out today...I went for my post op and have lost 22 lbs, 10 of which were water weight from the IV in the hospital. I am now starting the first step in stage III food! Can resume my full exercise program and the best thing got those nasty staples out... Keep up the good work Patti

Hi everyone. I am 3 weeks out tomorrow. I am as of this morning 26 lbs down from surgery day. I think today I feel better than I have since surgery. I have found that tender beef jerkey is the most convienent form of protein if you are not at home. I drink alot of Propel ( I like it so much better than crystal lite ) and I am getting in my protein shakes. Knock on wood, nothing has made me dump so far. Though a couple times I felt like my food was sitting in my chest and my heart raced a bit. Still learning how to tell when I am full. I walk daily ( two times usually ) and am probably going back to work on tuesday. I cannot believe how long it is taking to get my energy back. My lungs collapsed at the hospital and I had high fever, and I was also allergic to most pain meds including morphine so maybe that is why I have taken longer to feel better. But I can tell now. Feeling good~ Chylene 290/264/150
