tomorrow,is my day

I WILL BE HAVING MY SURGERY TOMORROW MAY 24 2005 ,AND I TOO AM FEELING EXCITED ABOUT MY DECISION BUT AT THE SAME TIME SCARED AS HECK .I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING.I JUST FOUND THIS SITE AND I THINK IT IS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE.I AM HAVING AN OPEN RNY AT GEISINGER MED CENTER IN DANVILLE PA,AND MY SURGEON IS DR. PETER BENOTTI.

Welcome to the board. Congratulations on your surgery. I just signed your surgery support page. I assume you have just signed up. May I go to the main board and put you support page in as needing lots of support and caring - then you will see what a wonderful place this board is to get help and support.

jim i found this website two weeks ago and it is the best support i have found. i go in tommrow also and im nervous also but just think in about 30 days when we are alittle smaller how we will know it was all worth it. you are in my prayers and im looking forward to talking to you soon.

Jim, Best of luck on your surgery tomorrow... may it be uneventful, & may you have a smooth recovery! It's funny that your from Lewistown.... i'm originally from Mount Union ((of all places!)). I know Lewistown VERY well, & boy do i miss wal-mart!! I live in nyc now, & there isn't one anywhere! I go in for surgery on thursday.... see you on the losing side! Mike
