How in the world can you get all this protien they ask to to take with out keeping on using the protien shakes? There's not enough room in me to get anywhere close the 50. I'm lucky just to get half. Need suggestions! Thanks!!!!

I just discovered something that would have been oh so helpful when I got home from surgery! http://store.bariatriceating.com/proteinpudding.html I bought both flavors and they're not too shabby Angie http://www.geocities.com/tiger_angie

I'm struggling too. I apparently have developed lactose intolerance, so I have to try LactAid or something. The IsoPure powder protein drinks that used to be okay are now making me near vomit. I need to find some other sources of protein quickly.

Just a word about the Isopure--make sure you get the Zero Carb kind. The regular has too much sugar in it. These are really good! Susie

I'm having surgery this Thursday but I've heard that the following are good sources of protein. Hope this helps! ProPlete Gold protein shake ProPlete Gold Complete Whey Protein Nectar from Syntrax Fruit Juice Flavored Whey Protein Isolate Designer Whey by NEXT Proteins Premier Nutrition Odyssey Bars (30 grams of protein) hope this helps. Have you looked at the www.bariatriceating.com website? I found a lot of idea from this site.

Hi Shawna: I'm having surgery tomorrow and had someone tell me to add a scoop of protein powder to your sf pudding or sf yogurt (when you're on that phase) I'm going to add my Mixed Berry protein powder (from bariatriceating.com) to vanilla pudding. There's also a flavorless protein powder (bariatriceating.com or GNC) that you can add to broth and jello. Get creative and add the powders to everything you eat...so you'll not only be getting the protein out of the broth, etc. but also added protein from the powder. Good luck. Jean May 24th, Lap RNY
