Sharp tummy annoyances...

I had surgery on the 15th of May and am now having...every once in a while sharp..hmmm...ok..pains on my left side...they go away...mainly if i lift my hands over my head...did ya'll get the same thing... I am thinking there is gas stuck in there??? love you, T

Hey Tammy. I think you are right, It is my understanding that gas will be our biggest enemy. I had my surgery on May 9th and I have had a lot of gas in places I didn't know gas could go. I have my first post-op visit tomorrow and believe me I'll be inquiring about it. Other than the gas my biggest problem has been very slight nausea when I swallow too fast. Keep in touch, Bev Long

Tammy, you may have just answered some of my questions. I had surgery on the 12th, and just today I began having some rather sharp pains on my left side. Depending on how I sit, they don't hurt as bad, but I also notice relief if I lift my hands over my head. I've also noticed if I pass some gas, I do get some relief. I'm going to buy some gas-x tomorrow! Good luck! ~Wanda
