hello all i dont know if ...
hello all i dont know if anyone remembers me, i had put a question on here about a month ago . i was sick with a cold and i was supposed to have surgery on april 27th, well they canceled it because i was sick the anisteoligist said no wait 10 days till i am better and my cold is gone. so here i am waiting till tuesday when i have surgery finally.
i have to be on a mush food diet(thats what i call it) and the a day before surgery all liquids, i hope i can do it without getting hungary
so does anyone have any sugestions for me? or dose anyone have experience in having to stay at a hotel on what to eat after surgery in the hotel?
Congrats on your date! I didn't stay at a hotel, but it also depends on your doctor, I think. I've not been as hungry since surgery as I was fasting before it. Cottage cheese is good, although some can't keep it down. Applesauce. Mashed potatoes. Stuff like that. My dr says cooked veggies are fine, too, like green beans. It depends on what your dr thinks. Some allow liquids only for the first little bit. Some, like mine, gave me a list of foods that I can have if I can tolerate them.
Good luck and keep us posted!!
