HOME HOME HOME!!!!!

I made it through my surgery well and passed my leak test! YIPEEEE!! I was released on the 11th and without a drainage tube to my surprise. my surgeon said that he usually does not put them in as they are another source of infection. but if the patient needs it he does it. so i think that is why i am doing better. i have walked alot, done my breathing excersises, and ankel pumps. i just cant wait till i can sleep on my sides again. but the main thing is all looks good and i am closing on my one weel post op and doing well. thanks to all who have given their support, encouragement, advice, and understanding. Congratulations! It's wonderful to hear that someone else is doing as well as I am. I had my surgery May 2. Already eating pureed foods and tolerating everything I have tried. I hope everything continues to go well for you. Yeah, We're on our way to a better life!
