HOW LONG DID YOU WEAR YOUR CORSET?

How long did your surgeon tell you to wear your corset? That's what I call it anyway - it binds you around your middle tummy. This of course would only be for the open RNYers. I am 9 days out and I actually like to wear it. When it's off, I'm afraid I might bust open! Just wondering, Caren

I never got one. I had one after my C-section 6 years ago, but they didn't give me one this time.

Now that's interesting......the opening for the RNY is a whole lot larger than for a C-section and they gave you one for the C-section but not the RNY? Hmmm - difference in doctors I guess! Thanks for letting me know. Take care, Caren

Hi Caren, Kriss again here and I just wanted to let you know i've had 3 abdominal surgeries and never got one so I would think you're pretty safe.
