Joanne, Glad to hear you are doing so well. Take it easy though. You may feel great but your insides are healing. I felt the same way as you and still do but I am following doctor's orders because I want to avoid hernias, and the like. Where did you have your surgery done? What type did you have? Miliss

Hey Joanne, I also had my RNY surgery on Wednesday and I feel great too! The first day was hard, but each day I get less sore and I can move more. I actually took a walk around my neighborhood today and my mother-in-law came over and said that she couldn't even tell that I just had major surgery! Glad you are doing so well. Stacy

Hey Joanna and Stacy Congratulations on your successful surgery and quick "on ramp" on the road recovery! I'm going in tomorrow and I only hope I do half as well as you two! You're an inspiration, keep it up!!! Joe

Joanne-- This is marvelous news, and especially meaningful for us who only have days or hours left before our surgeries. I can hardly believe that tomorrow at this time it will all be over, and the nurses will be nagging me to get on my feet You are so wise to follow medical advice to the letter. My friend Marjorie is now about 5 weeks out, and nary a glitch. --Lee

Hi, Joanne!! Congrats on your surgery. Glad all went well, and that you are home and doing good. Trust me, having this surgery is the best thing you could've done for yourself. I know it was for me. I'm 2 months out and have no regrets. I learn more and more the longer I am out. You will to. Keep us posted on your progress!! Trisha -54 lbs since 3/8/05
