Update on Krista O.

Hi...Just a quick update on Krista..she had her surgery today. I just spoke with her mom and she said all went well and she was sleeping. I will know more tomorrow when I go and see her and promise to give more of an update. I am just very glad all went well and she is on the "losing side". I know how important this was to here and I am glad she will be able to find happiness. Will fill in more tomorrow.. Thanks!! Mari

RE: Update on Krista O. HI everyone!! Talked to Krista today.... I decided I wanted to go see her on Sunday because it is Mothers' Day and I thought she may need a little pick me up!! She is very very sore and I guess her surgery was not without its little complications! She had a very difficult time breathing when she was waking from the anestesia and unfortunelty the breathing tube had to remain in a little longer than she had wanted. Thank God her breathing has stabalized and they are trying to keep her comfortable. She passed her leak test..Yea!!... and is hoping to start her fluids tomorrow..she has still not been able to drink anything!! Lets keep our prayers coming!!!!! Mari

Krista, My thoughts and prayers are with you! Had my surgery same day as you. Came home on Mother's Day, and feel good. My post op is tomorrow and I hope to get the drain out. Hang in there girl...it does get better! Deb
