HELP!!! LIQUID PRE-OP

Are any of you on a liquid diet before surgery? If you are, please help me know what ya'll are doing to get by this torture. I'm excited about my surgery, but I'm at home so all I do is think about food. Thank you, Lea

the hardest thing is that I'm home, so everything on tv is about food. I try to stay busy, but if I overexert myself, then I'm hungry. I really just want to go to sleep to have my day go by, but I'm selling Mother Day Kittens, so I have to be alert for phone calls. I may go to the Vitamin Shop and get this Hoodia supplement to help the hunger. Good luck with yours, Lea

I started mine today! So far I'm ok. I went to the grocery store today to get sugar free popcicles and I thought I was going to have a panic attack, everything looked good and smelled good. I had to look straight ahead, grab them and leave. (I did pay for them...lol.) I know I will make it and so will you, stay strong and think about the future and how you will feel and look. Brenda

lea, i have been on my liquid diet for 6 days and my surgery is on 5-9-05. so i still have to look foward to another 9 more days of clear liquids. i am getting so excited about the future when i can eat full liquids which is suposed to be 5-18-05!!! I am trying to keep optimistic about it and stay positive. it will get better and in the end it will be alright. take care and best wishes on your surgery! rach
