Had surgery May 2nd and back home!
I came home yesterday. Dr. Weaver and her staff are so great. It's a good thing, because after the first night I thought what the hell did I do. This was not even to be compared to any of my other surgeries. I've had 2 c-sections, gallbladder, lithropisies and stents. This hurt worse than any of them. I'm finally to the point where I can see it will get better. I finally got a good nights sleep last night. Something that was impossible in the hospital. They have beds from hell. What I did sleep was in a chair. Keep in mind everybody's body responds different. I think I expected too much it is major surgery. After my c-sections I was up the next day cleaning my room. Maybe that's not normal. I'm praying for you all!
Lots of love,
Tammy
Tammy-
I too had surgery on May 2nd. I am glad to hear I am not the only one who was thinking... what did I do!
Still really sore, hard to even stand up straight. Hard to get all the food and liquids in that they want you to.
Before the surgery, I could get the protein shakes in no problem, now it's the hardest of all.
Hope all goes well, and please keep us May'ers updated.
